2010 Fundraising Campaign

On March 1st, 2010 the Labyrinth Committee will kick off the fundraising campaign for the Carleton Place Community Labyrinth. Our goal is to raise $10,000! Every contribution brings us closer to the reality of creating the permanent labyrinth and completing the gardens that will surround it. Can you help us realize our dream of bringing the labyrinth experience to our community? We believe it can happen! Please read the letter by clicking on the Fundraising Campaign page on this blog, for more details of our project. Ready to make a donation? Print out the Donation Form page, fill out the form and mail it with your cheque to the address noted. Thank you for your kindness and support.

  1. I am the Knowledge Broker for the Spiritual Care Community of Practice, of the Seniors Health Research Transfer Network (SHRTN), which has a Labyrinth sub-community. This group has put up both small, temporary, and large, permanent Labyrinths, both Chartres style and modern style, in Communities around Ontario and in Long Term Care Homes for seniors (including the Perley-Rideau Veterans Home) and has a great deal of knowledge and experience to offer. You may already be connected, but if not, please contact me at 613-762-7752 or by email at tekirkp@sympatico.ca I am based in Carleton Place (born and raised here) and would like to help out if there is anything I can offer.

  2. Hi Terry - thanks so much for your post and offer of help! I will pass your kind message along to our committee members today. Our group leader, Debby Lytle, is currently away - but I am certain she will be interested in contacting you upon her return.
